I’m an American born German artist, living in South Africa. Painting has always been my passion, but in 2007 I started to paint more seriously. After drawing in pencil and oil pastels I started painting in acrylic and oil. I love trying out different techniques and experimenting with new and interesting art mediums. I also use enamel which I drip onto a board or canvas. I’ve “painted” with candle smoke or used spray paint that I set on fire. It can be a bit frustrating at times, but if the paper doesn’t burn away you can really achieve interesting results. My favorite subjects to paint are nudes and portraits of celebrities, preferably the guys from the music scene.
